Scholastic’s booth at New York Comic-Con was designed to make a bold statement, featuring a 20-foot tower at its center with interactive and dimensional elements that drew attendees in. Every detail was crafted to engage fans and celebrate some of Scholastic’s biggest upcoming releases.
In my role, I managed the production process from start to finish, ensuring everything was executed seamlessly. I worked closely with the client to review their designs, offering feedback and making adjustments to ensure they were production-ready and aligned with their vision.
On the Dog Man side, a massive 10-foot 3D structure, complete with dynamic lighting and multiple layered elements brought the characters to life. This display created the perfect photo opportunity.
On the Hunger Games side, fans were invited to take part in a unique interactive experience. A dedicated wall allowed attendees to write messages to the author, sharing how much the series has meant to them over the years. This space became more than just a promotional space—it became a place for connection and celebration.
The Hunger Games interactive experience was such a success that the message wall filled up before the weekend even arrived. I quickly coordinated the production and shipment of fresh panels, ensuring fans could continue engaging with and contributing to the display throughout the event.
The Dog Man structure was a fully custom design, requiring close collaboration with our printer and in-house shop. From concept to execution, I worked to create a seamless, compelling piece that captured attention.
